Our Team…
Scott Bassett [Event Director]
Scott has timed and scored over 200 events in the past 10 years
along with creating several signature events. Scott
focuses on many of the company owned events as well as timing
scoring for several client events.
David Frye [Event Timer]
David is entering his 3rd year with On The Mark Sports. David
teaches high school history but spends nearly 40 weekends a year
working events. David handles timing and scoring for many of our
clients and also works most of our owned events.
Robert Grider [Event Timer]
Robert is a mild manner actuary by day and a timing guru on the
weekends. Robert times and scores many of our smaller
events.
Morgan Jones [Client Services Director]
Morgan is a recent graduate of Guilford College. Morgan is the
glue that holds everything together. She handles online
registration and data management for our timing clients.
Morgan is also race director for several of our company owned
events and acts as volunteer director and course director for
several of our larger events. Morgan also does event
timing for several events including her love... mountain biking.
Heidi Pinkerton [Registration Director]
Heidi is the head cross country coach at Guilford College and a
former track and cross country runner at UNCG. Heidi
handles registration and finish line management at our larger
events.
Butch Robertson [Event Director]
Butch owns and manages several of his own events through BTR
Management. Butch has directed or managed over 200 races,
including the 10K National Championship, events for the US
Olympic Committee, Special Olympics World Games Marathon and
Half Marathon, he founded and has directed The Old Reliable Run
for 25 years, the Great Raleigh Road Race and several other
